At approximately 12:51 am, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 200 block of John R Street in reference to a domestic disturbance and reportedly, someone had been stabbed. Upon arrival, officers learned that no one was stabbed and that there had been no weapons involved. Officers were also advised that the two involved in the disturbance had left on foot and identified one of them as a subject familiar to officers as having outstanding felony warrants. Officers located the individual hiding in a yard nearby at which point he fled on foot. After a brief foot pursuit, officers subsequently apprehended and arrested 33-year-old Anthony Brown on two active state of Missouri warrants issued through Dunklin County, a Kennett Municipal warrant, and for Resisting Arrest. Brown was held in the Dunklin County Justice Center on the warrants as well as pending the filing of formal charges by the Dunklin County Prosecutor’s office. Officers also arrested 31-year-old Amanda Winberry on an active Kennett Municipal warrant. Winberry was also held in the Dunklin County Justice Center on her warrant only.

At approximately 8:44 am, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1000 block of Astrachan Street in reference to property damage. Upon arrival, officers learned that sometime during the night, someone had broken the sunroof on the victim’s vehicle. At the time of this report, there are no suspects, and the incident is still under investigation.
At approximately 11:29 am, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 200 block of West Eighth Street. Upon arrival, officers learned that sometime during the night someone entered the victims shed and stole an item. At the time of this report, there are no suspects, and the incident is still under investigation.
At approximately 2:42 pm, officers observed a vehicle in the 400 block of Beaton Street. Before officers were able to initiate a traffic stop with the vehicle for traffic violations, the vehicle began evading officers at extremely high rates of speed. Officers observed as the vehicle pulled into a yard on North Jackson Street and as the driver exited, he began fleeing on foot through yards. Officers were able to apprehend the driver in the 900 block of North Baldwin Street. At that point, officers arrested 48-year-old Patrick Wallace of Kennett for Careless and Imprudent Driving and Resisting Arrest. After consent to search the vehicle was refused, officers were able to secure a search warrant for the vehicle. Upon executing the search warrant, officers located an undisclosed amount of individually wrapped baggies containing marijuana and synthetic marijuana. Wallace was held in the Dunklin County Justice Center pending the filing of the aforementioned charges as well as Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Distribute by the Dunklin County Prosecutor’s office.
At approximately 3:29 pm, officers conducted a traffic stop in the 800 block of West Washington Street. During the stop, officers subsequently arrested 26-year-old Joshua Hall of Blytheville Arkansas on an active Kennett Municipal warrant. Hall was transported to the Kennett Municipal Court Clerks office where he disposed of his fines and was released.
At approximately 4:58 pm, officers were dispatched to the intersection of Franklin and Beaton Streets in reference to a motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival, officers learned that a subject on a motorized scooter had been struck by a dark-colored passenger vehicle, possibly a Dodge with chrome wheels, driven by what was described as an older white female. Officers were advised that the passenger car fled the scene after striking the individual on the scooter. At the time of this report, there are no suspects, and the incident is still under investigation.
At approximately 5:29 pm, officers were dispatched to the Family Dollar Store on First Street in reference to a female trespassing on the property. Upon arrival, and after subsequent investigation, officers arrested 38-year-old Tamitha Eaves of Kennett for Trespassing. Eaves was later released on a Kennett Municipal Court summons pending her court date.
At approximately 5:58 pm, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 500 block of South Jackson Street in reference to a burglary. Upon arrival, officers learned that someone had broken into two sheds on the property. At the time of this report, there are no suspects, and the incident is still under investigation.

At approximately 4:03 am, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1200 block of Floyd Street in reference to a theft. Upon arrival, the victim reported to officers that a male had stolen cash and prescription medication before fleeing the residence. At the time of this report, the male has not been located and the incident is still under investigation.
At approximately 5:10 am, officers arrested 30-year-old Carlos Hopper of Kennett. Hopper was arrested on an active Kennett Municipal warrant and held in the Dunklin County Justice Center on the warrant only.
At approximately 12:36 pm, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 700 block of South Jackson Street in reference to a residence that had been shot numerous times. Upon arrival, officers located several bullet projectiles that had struck and entered the residence. The tenants of the residence were still in the process of moving in and advised they did not know who may have been attempting to harm them. It should also be noted that the tenants were not at home when the incident occurred. This incident is still under investigation.
At approximately 1:12 pm, officers arrested 24-year-old Jacquelyne Daniels of Kennett on an active State of Missouri warrant issued out of Dunklin County and an active warrant issued out of Conway Arkansas. Daniels was held in the Dunklin County Justice Center on the warrants only.
At approximately 4:45 pm, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 900 block of Compress Road in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers subsequently arrested 40-year-old Michael Bivens of Kennett on an active state of Missouri warrant issued out of Pemiscot County. Bivens was held in the Dunklin County Justice Center on the warrant only.
At approximately 6:11 pm, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 200 block of South Main Street in reference to a theft. Upon arrival, officers learned that someone had stolen the victim’s motorized scooter. At the time of this report, there are no suspects, and the incident is still under investigation.
At approximately 6L27pm, officers were dispatched to the Wal-Mart Supercenter in reference to a shoplifter. Upon arrival, and after subsequent investigation, officers arrested 48-year-old Rebecca Crawford of Kennett for shoplifting. Crawford was later released on a Kennett Municipal Court summons pending her court date.
At approximately 10:39 pm, officers arrested 54-year-old Stephanie Hickman of Kennett on an active state of Missouri warrant issued out of Dunklin County. Hickman was held in the Dunklin County Justice Center on the warrant only.
At approximately 11:22 pm, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 300 block of Miss Clara Drive in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers subsequently arrested 25-year-old Natfertiri Johnson of Kennett on an active Kennett Municipal warrant. Johnson was held in the Dunklin County Justice Center on the warrant only.

At approximately 1:38 am, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 400 block of Beaton Street in reference to an assault. Upon arrival, officers located the victim who had sustained a large laceration to his head. The victim, who was intoxicated, could not identify his attacker. This incident is still under investigation.
At approximately 7:49 am, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 800 block of North Walnut in reference to an unwanted guest. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated that when she woke up she discovered an unknown female asleep on her couch and that the female had left walking prior to officer’s arrival. After a subsequent investigation, officers located and arrested 38-year-old Tamitha Eaves of Kennett for Burglary 1st Degree. Eaves was held in the Dunklin County Justice Center pending the filing of formal charges by the Dunklin County Prosecutor’s office.
At approximately 4:17 pm, officers were dispatched to the Wal-Mart Supercenter in reference to a theft. Upon arrival, officers learned that a female had entered the store and fraudulently coerced a cashier into putting a large amount of currency onto a credit card. At the time of this report, the suspect has not been identified and this incident is still under investigation.
At approximately 11:35 pm, officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Harrison and Vandeventer Streets. During the stop, and after subsequent investigation, officers arrested 41-year-old Lee Armstrong of Kennett for Driving While Intoxicated. Armstrong was held in the Dunklin County Justice Center where he was scheduled to be released at a later time on a Kennett Municipal Court summons pending his court date.

At approximately 9:41 am, officers were dispatched to a residence on South Linden Circle in reference to a stolen firearm. Upon arrival, officers learned that a firearm had been stolen out of the victim’s vehicle. At the time of this report, there are no suspects and the incident is still under investigation.
At approximately 12:28 pm, officers were dispatched to the Aldi’s parking lot in reference to a vehicle that had been damaged. Upon arrival, officers learned that the victim had been engaged in a verbal altercation with a female over a parking space prior to going inside the store. Upon exiting the store, the victim advised that he noticed several deep scratches on the passenger side of his vehicle that had not been there prior. At the time of this report, the female suspect has not been located or identified. This incident is still under investigation.
At approximately 2:21 pm, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 100 block of Pool Street in reference to a theft. Upon arrival, officers learned that a male and female had spent the night at the residence and when the victim awoke, the two were gone and currency was missing from her wallet. At the time of this report, the male and/or female suspects have not been located. This incident is still under investigation.
At approximately 2:46 pm, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 300 block of West Fifth Street in reference to a theft. Upon arrival, officers were advised that someone had stolen items off the victim’s porch. At the time of this report, there are no suspects and the incident is still under investigation.
At approximately 3:40 pm officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1100 block of Floyd Street in reference to a theft. Upon arrival, officers learned that a tenant had vacated the property leaving their belongings behind. The property manager advised officers that they had received information that other subjects had been entering the residence and taking the items from within. At the time of this report, the owner of the items has not been contacted and there are no suspects. This incident is still under investigation.
At approximately 4:49 pm, officers were dispatched to the police department in reference to a female who had come in bleeding. Upon arrival, the uncooperative female refused medical treatment and declined to tell officers what had taken place.
At approximately 4:19 pm, officers were dispatched to the Cornerstone Pharmacy in reference to someone attempting to fraudulently obtain a controlled substance. Upon arrival, officers learned that a female had come into the business and provided a prescription to be filled and later returned to retrieve the prescription after it was filled telling the employees she was running errands for her aunt. Upon further investigation, the pharmacy employees learned that the female had done the same thing at other pharmacies in Kennett and that the prescription was found to be fraudulent. At the time of this report, the female has not been identified or located, however, it is believed the same suspect has done the same activity at other locations in Pemiscot and New Madrid Counties. This incident is still under investigation.
At approximately 6:48 pm, officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Saint Francis and Jackson Street. During the stop, officers subsequently located an undisclosed amount of methamphetamine. Officers arrested 51-year-old Diane Jones of Kennett for Possession of a Controlled substance. Jones was held in the Dunklin County Justice Center pending the filing of formal charges by the Dunklin County Prosecutor’s office.
At approximately 9:23 pm, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1200 block of Mallard Cove in reference to a theft. Upon arrival, officers learned that someone had stolen items out of the victim’s yard. At the time of this report, this incident is still under investigation.
At approximately 9:50 pm, officers were dispatched to the Family Dollar Store on First Street in reference to a shoplifter. Upon arrival and after subsequent investigation, officers subsequently arrested 38-year-old Tamitha Eaves of Kennett for shoplifting. Eaves was later released on a Kennett Municipal Court summons pending her court date.
