One of the original members of the Temptations died in Cape after performing at the Show Me Center over the weekend.
59-year-old Kerry Turman was found unresponsive in his room at the Candlewood Suites around 7:45 a.m. Sunday, April 23. Cape County Coroner John Clifton said foul play is not suspected in his death and reported that members of the group said Turman felt fine when he went to bed after the concert.
The Temptations played a show with the Beach Boys on Saturday evening. Turman played bass for the group for 33 years. The only original member of the Temptations still alive is Otis Williams.
