Multiple Crashes In Troop E Over The Weekend

The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to multiple accidents over the weekend in Troop E.

On Friday, April 17th, the MSHP responded to a two vehicle accident in Dunklin County on MO-AC, two miles west of Cardwell. The crash occurred at 7:35am as a 2024 Nissan Altima, operated by a 17 year old female juvenile from Monett, Arkansas, pulled into the path of a 2018 GMC Sierra, driven by a 41 year old male from Paragould, Arkansas. The driver of the Sierra sustained moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to NEA in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The juvenile driver of the Altima suffered serious injuries and was transported by ambulance to Region One Hospital in Memphis, TN.

The MSHP responded to a crash on Sunday, April 19th at 4:49pm, in Stoddard County, one half mile west of Dexter on County Road 637. The crash occurred as a 2010 GMC Sierra, driven by a 17 year old male juvenile from Puxico, attempted to pass a 2017 Ford F150, driven by a 19 year old male from Dexter. The Sierra struck the F150, causing the F150 to run off the roadway, strike a ditch and overturn. The driver of the Sierra and an 18 year old female occupant of the F150 sustained minor injuries and were transported by private conveyance to Mercy Stoddard in Dexter. A 15 year old female juvenile occupant of the F150 and a 17 year old female juvenile occupant of the F150 sustained moderate injuries and were transported by ambulance to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

On Sunday evening at 7:39pm, the MSHP responded to a single vehicle accident in Wayne County on MO-34, two miles west of Silva. The crash occurred as a 2012 Harley Davidson motorcycle, operated by a 34 year old man from Lone Jack, Missouri, ran off the right side of the roadway and overturned, ejecting the driver. The driver sustained serious injuries and was air lifted to St. Louis University Hospital.
