MSHP Responds to Fatal Crash in Troop E

On Saturday, March 30th, the MSHP responded to a two vehicle crash in Bollinger County, two miles south of Scopus on Highway B.

The crash occurred at 10:50am as a southbound 1999 Ford Ranger, driven by a driven by a 71 year old female from Millersville, Missouri, crossed the center line and struck a 2015 GMC Sierra head on.

The driver of the Sierra, a 20 year old male from Benton, and a 19 year old female occupant from Benton, received minor injuries and were taken by private conveyance to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

The driver of the Ford Ranger was pronounced at the scene by Bollinger County Deputy Coroner Dale Warren.
