
The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a serious crash on Wednesday morning on MO-77, a quarter mile south of Oran in Scott County. The crash occurred at 5:30am as a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, operated by a 27 year old female from Sikeston, failed to yield and struck a pedestrian. The pedestrian, a 41 year old male from Sikeston, suffered serious injuries and was air lifted to St. Louis University Hospital.
The MSHP responded to a crash in Iron County on Wednesday afternoon at 1:05pm, one mile north of Viburnum on MO-Y in Troop E. The crash occurred as an 18 year old female from Viburnum was driving a 2015 Yamaha Grizzly ATV and fell off the vehicle into the roadway. The driver was seriously injured and transported by Air Evac to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.
