
The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to two accidents in Troop E with either serious or fatal injuries.
On Monday, March 2nd, the MSHP responded to a single vehicle crash in Bollinger County, on MO 34 at County Road 504 E. The crash occurred at 9:30pm as a 1997 Ford F350, driven by a 31 year old male from Marble Hill, ran off the roadway and overturned. The driver was not wearing his safety device and received serious injuries. He was transported by ambulance to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
On Tuesday, March 3rd at 12:00am, the MSHP responded to a single vehicle accident in Madison County, one half mile north of Fredericktown on MO OO. The crash occurred as 2007 Chevrolet Silverado, driver by an 18 year old male from Fredericktown, ran off the roadway and struck a tree. The driver was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced at the scene by Madison County Coroner Collin Follis. The is Troop E fatality #6 for 2026.
