On Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at approximately 1:15 AM, Caruthersville Police Officers initiated a traffic stop in the area of Truman Blvd and 18th Street for a busted tail light. During the course of the traffic stop, it was discovered that the driver, identified as 21-year-old Zolyn Williams, had two active warrants for his arrest.One warrant was listed as outside extradition. The second warrant was from Texas County, Missouri for Failure to Appear on a traffic violation. Texas County confirmed the warrant and advised they would extradite. The warrant carried a cash only bond of $548.00.
Williams was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Pemiscot County Justice Center.
