The MSHP responded to a fatal crash in Butler County, two miles south of Poplar Bluff on US 67.
The crash occurred at 6:40pm as a moped, operated by a 40 year old male from Poplar Bluff, was struck in the rear by a 2009 Dodge Ram, operated by a 45 year old male from Harviell. The driver of the moped was ejected and then struck by the Dodge Ram, then also struck by a 2013 Kenworth and a 2025 Buick Envision. The Envision was then struck in the rear by a 2023 Chevrolet Malibu.
The driver of the moped was pronounced at the scene by the Butler County Coroner and next of kin were notified.
