On Monday around 11:47am, the MSHP responded to serious crash in Wayne County involving a single vehicle. The crash occurred when a 2011 Ford Fusion, driven by a 16 year old male juvenile from Doe Run, was headed northbound when it ran off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree.
The juvenile driver sustained serious injuries and was air lifted to St. Louis Children’s Hospital. The Fusion received extensive damage and was towed from the scene.
