The Kennett Board of Public Works (KBPW) is proud to announce it has received safety grants totaling $2,827.11 from the Missouri Intergovernmental Risk Management Association (MIRMA). These funds will be used to purchase essential equipment aimed at creating a safer work environment for utility employees.
The grant supports KBPW’s ongoing commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence. The new equipment will help reduce risk and improve safety protocols for field crews working in potentially hazardous conditions.
Jamie Chitester, CEO at KBPW, said, “We are grateful to MIRMA for their continued support and investment in the safety of our team. This grant allows us to take proactive steps in protecting our employees while they serve the community.”
This initiative reflects KBPW’s dedication to maintaining a safe and efficient utility infrastructure for the residents of Kennett.
