A week-long manhunt ended yesterday morning as Special Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation in cooperation with multiple law enforcement agencies, apprehended 28 year old Austin Robert Drummond.  He is the primary suspect in the quadruple murder of 21 year old James Matthew Wilson, 20 year old Adrianna Williams, 15 year old Braydon Williams and 38 year old Cortney Rose in Tiptonville in Lake County, TN.  Drummond was located and arrested on Windwood Drive in Jackson, TN. He is being charged with four counts of First Degree Murder, one count of Aggravated Kidnapping, four counts of Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and one count of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony.

The investigation started in Dyer County last Tuesday around 3:00pm with the discovery of an abandoned baby in a random front yard in the Tigrett area. Dyer County Sheriff Sheriff Jeff Box expressed his gratitude to all agencies involved. “This would not have been achieved without the tireless work and dedication of our local, state, and federal partners. Their commitment to justice and public safety around the clock since (last) Tuesday at 3pm has been invaluable throughout this investigation. Also, our citizens have been extremely helpful and cooperative. Thank you so much for always being a willing partner with our deputies and investigators.”
