A Portageville man was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the incident happened around 8:30 yesterday morning. The 63 year old Portageville man was walking in the road on US Highway 61, two miles south of Marston, when he was struck by a vehicle driven by a 75 year old man from Paducah, Kentucky. The Portageville man was airlifted to a hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
