Common scams:
– Bond Scams: Scammers may claim that a loved one is in jail and that immediate payment is required to secure their release.
– Ankle Monitor Scams: You may receive calls stating that your loved one is required to pay a fee related to an electronic ankle monitor.
– Grand Jury Indictment: Some calls may threaten legal action or indicate that you are under investigation without any legitimate basis.
