After suddenly spiking by more than a dime two weeks ago, the national average for a gallon of gas is calmer heading into the weekend. AAA reports nationwide the average is $3.26, two cents lower than a week ago.
Missouri’s average is two cents higher than last week at $2.90. Arkansas stands at $2.89 – a penny lower than a week ago. Tennessee is three cents lower at $2.96.
