The Kennett School Board met in a special session last night to discuss the search for the next superintendent. Dr. Chris Wilson recently announced his retirement effective June 30.
The Board hired the Missouri Association of Rural Education to handle the search. Applications can be submitted from Monday, December 11 through Thursday, January 4. The Board will meet the next day, January 5, to select candidates to interview; those interviews will take place between January 9-11.
The regularly scheduled January 16 meeting will be moved to a week later, January 23, at which time the Board will hire a new superintendent.
