A one car traffic accident in Stoddard County took the life of a Matthews woman. The MSHP identified the victim as 23 year old Lydia Derossett, who died after her car ran off Route Y, struck a utility pole, and overturned.
The accident happened at 2:35 p.m. Monday.

A northeast Arkansas man was seriously hurt Monday night when his motorcycle ran off Route A south of Doniphan and overturned. According to Troop E, 24 year old Hunter Loggains of Pocahontas was taken to Five Rivers Medical Center in Pocahontas.
