One person was hurt in a two vehicle traffic accident on West Washington Street in Hayti Heights Wednesday afternoon. Troop E reports that accident happened when an ambulance, driven by 21 year old Anthony Huskey of Van Buren, passed a car, driven by 25 year old Halee Sanders of Hayti Heights. The HP reports Sanders turned the car into the side of the ambulance.
She was taken to Pemiscot Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries after the 4 p.m. accident.
Authorities say Sanders was arrested for felony operating a motor vehicle without a license – third offense.
