A two vehicle accident on US 61 just north of New Madrid last night left two people hurt. The MSHP reports that accident happened when 41 year old Katherine Cummins of Marston failed to yield her vehicle, and it struck a car driven by 25 year old Victoria Campbell of Lilbourn.
Campbell was hurt as was a passenger in her car, 25 year old Justus Ash of Portageville. They were taken to the hospital in Sikeston with minor injuries.
That accident happened at 9:20 p.m.
