Corning Police Dept. report February 12

Sunday, February 12,  at approximately 3:27 p.m., Officers with the Corning Police Department along with Clay County Sheriff Terry Miller and other Clay County Deputies executed the search warrant.

During the investigation 75 grams of crystal meth and 3 firearms was located along with Drug Paraphernalia.

Kevin Hensley, Gregory Brian Hampton, and Chelsey Elenburg, all of Corning was arrested at the residence and later transported to the Clay County Detention Center awaiting a Bond Hearing.

  • Kevin Hensley’s bond was set at $ 150,000.00 cash or surety, 
  • Gregory Brian Hampton’s bond was set at $ 50,000.00 cash or surety, 
  • Chelsey Elenburg’s bond was set at $ 50,000.00 cash or surety.

All face the charges of Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms ( Class Y Felony), Proximity of Certain Facilities( Enhanced Penalties Class C Felony), Possession of Methamphetamine with Purpose to Deliver(Class A Felony), Possession of Drugs Schedule II Methamphetamine with Intent to Use(Class B Felony), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia(Class D Felony)
