The Caruthersville Animal Shelter is overcrowded. In fact, Karol Wilcox says they thought they’d hit a peak last year, but they are way head of that pace.
Wilcox recently told News Director Steve Patton there were 77 animals in the shelter, more than 25 more than comfortable.
