The West Tennessee Drug Task Force, assisted by the Dyer County Sheriff’s Office, served a search warrant in the 1000 Block of Lipford Circle on Thursday as part of an ongoing investigation.
During the execution of the warrant, agents discovered the suspect had recently been released on bond from charges related to a recent drive by shooting in Missouri. Agents found and seized two weapons, over a pound of marijuana, electronic scales and cash suspected to be drug proceeds.
One male subject was taken into custody on multiple charges including possession of a schedule VI controlled substance with intent to sell, possession of a weapon during the commission of a dangerous felony and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The case is being prosecuted by the 29th Judicial District Attorney General’s office.
