Two Crashes in Troop E Result in Injuries

The MSHP responded to two crashes in the Troop E area, with moderate or serious injuries.

On Wednesday, the MSHP responded to a two-vehicle crash in Dunklin County, four miles east of Kennett on US 412 Westbound. The crash occurred at 9:30am as a 2018 Hyundai Sonata, driven by a 48 year old female from Caruthersville, began to slow, crossed the centerline and struck a 2005 Peterbilt Conventional, driven by a 41 year old male form Hartville, Missouri. The female driver of the Sonata sustained moderate injuries and was air lifted to Regional One Health in Memphis.

On Thursday morning, around 10:40am, the MSHP responded to a single vehicle accident in Stoddard County, one mile east of Bloomfield on County Road 524. The crash occurred as a 2026 International, operated by a 57 year old male from Sikeston, traveled off the left side of the roadway and overturned. The driver suffered serious injuries and was air lifted to St. Louis University Hospital.
