On Friday, the MSHP responded to a fatal accident in Bollinger County, ten miles west of Marble Hill.
The accident occurred at 2:52pm on MO 34 as a westbound 2023 Ford Expedition, driven by a 28 year old female from Patterson, MO., ran off the right side of the roadway, struck a rock bluff and overturned. The vehicle then struck a 72 year old female pedestrian from Glenallen, MO., who standing beside a stationary 2001 Kawasaki Mule.
The pedestrian was pronounced at the scene by Bollinger County Deputy Coroner Calvin Troxell. This is Troop E fatality #5 for 2026.
