On Tuesday, December 30th, the MSHP responded to a fatal accident in Butler County on MO-53, one mile south of Poplar Bluff. The accident happened at 5:54pm when a 2018 Toyota RAV4, driven by a 63 year old female from Qulin, struck a 67 year old male pedestrian from Poplar Bluff crossing the roadway. The pedestrian was pronounced at the scene at 6:10pm.
