On Monday, November 10th, the MSHP responded to a single vehicle crash around 2:00pm in Ripley County, five miles east of Doniphan on US 160. The crash occurred as a 2008 Chevrolet Malibu, driven by a 25 year old male from Doniphan, travelled off the right side of the roadway and struck a culvert. The driver suffered serious injuries and air lfted to Region One in Memphis, TN.
On Tuesday, November 11th, the MSHP responded to a two vehicle accident in Butler County, at US 160 and Highway C. The crash occurred at 3:42 pm when a southbound 2014 Honda Civic, driven by a 68 year old female from Myrtle, MO, ran a stop sign and struck an eastbound 2012 Ford Fusion, driven by a 28 year old female from Silva, MO. The drivers of both vehicles sustained serious injuries and were transported by EMS to area hospitals. A 65 year old female occupant of the Ford Fusion suffered fatal injuries. This is Troop E fatality number 54 for 2025.
