The MSHP worked a fatal accident on Sunday, September 14th, around 8:50pm in Dunklin County.
The accident occurred on US 412, 5 miles south of Kennett when a 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis driven by an unknown driver was headed eastbound and pulled into the path of a 2002 Yamaha XV1700 driven by a 58 year old male from Paragould, Arkansas. The Yamaha then struck the side of the Grand Marquis.
The 58 year old driver was pronounced at the scene by the Dunklin County Coroner James Powell at 9:19pm. This is Troop E fatality #43 for 2025.
