MSHP Works Crashes in Butler and Scott Counties

On Tuesday, the MSHP worked a couple of crashes in Troop E.

Around 6:18am on Tuesday morning, a crash occurred in Butler county on Highway 53, around a half a mile south of Poplar Bluff. The incident occurred as an eastbound 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan, driven by a 61 year old male from Poplar Bluff, pulled into the path of a northbound 2015 Buick Enclave, driven by an 80 year old female from Poplar Bluff, causing the collision. The driver of the Enclave was transported by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center with minor injuries. Both parties were wearing their seat belts.

Also, on Tuesday around 10:20pm, the MSHP worked an accident in Scott County, one mile west of Sikeston on MO-BB. The incident occurred as a vehicle of unknown make and model struck a 42 year old male pedestrian from Sikeston, who was in the roadway. The pedestrian was taken by private vehicle to Missouri Delta Medical Center with minor injuries.
