
The Caruthersville Police Department reports the following arrests over the weekend:
On August 15, 2025, at approximately 3:45 PM, Caruthersville Police located and arrested 48-year-old Stacy Floyd on an active Caruthersville municipal warrant. The warrant was for the original charge of Peace Disturbance and carried a cash-only bond of $329.00. Floyd was booked into the Pemiscot County Justice Center.
On August 16, 2025, at approximately 1:18 AM, Caruthersville Police were dispatched to the area of Easthaven Apartments in reference to a vehicle trying to run over the reporting party. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the reporting party, who stated that his girlfriend had tried to strike him with a vehicle during an argument. Officers were able to see tire tracks in a nearby dew-covered grassy lot where the male stated the incident had happened. Officers then made contact with the suspect, a 24-year-old Equaviona Hooper, and placed her under arrest for Domestic Assault 1st Degree – Attempt. Hooper was booked into the Pemiscot County Justice Center, and a felony warrant for the charge of Domestic Assault 1st Degree was later obtained. Hooper’s bond was set at $50,000.00 cash/surety.
On August 16, 2025, at approximately 7:00 AM, Caruthersville Police located and arrested 30-year-old Torrance Shepherd on an active Probation and Parole warrant. The warrant carried a $500.00 cash-only bond.
On August 16, 2025, at approximately 9:20 AM, Caruthersville Police located and arrested 63-year-old Michael Smith on an active Pemiscot County warrant. The warrant was for the original charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance and carried a $5,000.00 cash/surety bond. Smith was booked into the Pemiscot County Justice Center.
On August 16, 2025, at approximately 3:34 PM, Caruthersville Police were dispatched to a residence on Jefferson Avenue in reference to 36–year –old Chasity Davis refusing to leave the residence. Upon arrival in the area, officers located the female and placed her under arrest for the municipal charge of Trespassing. Davis was booked into the Pemiscot County Justice Center, and a municipal warrant was later obtained. Davis’ bond was set at $180.00.
On August 16, 2025, at approximately 4:05 PM, Caruthersville Police located and arrested 20-year-old Talmadge West on two no-bond Pemiscot County warrants. One of the warrants was for the original charges of Burglary 1st Degree, Stealing – Firearm, Armed Criminal Action, and Unlawful Use of a Weapon; while the second warrant was for the felony charge of Resisting Arrest – Creating Substantial Risk of Serious Injury/Death to Any Person. West was booked into the Pemiscot County Justice Center.
On August 16, 2025, at approximately 1:30 PM, Caruthersville Police received a report of a past tense burglary at an address on East 13th Street. During the investigation, officers identified a suspect. At approximately 5:40 PM, officers located and arrested 46-year-old Sharun Adaway for Burglary 2nd Degree. Adaway was booked into the Pemiscot County Justice Center, and a no-bond warrant was later obtained.
On August 16, 2025, at approximately 5:51 PM, Caruthersville Police were dispatched to an address in reference to possible narcotics-related activity taking place on the lawn and roadway in front of the residence. Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate any suspicious activity. A few minutes later, officers were again dispatched to the same location for the same activity, and again were unable to find anything. It was at this time that Pemiscot County Dispatch informed Caruthersville Police that the reporting party had called the 911 emergency line three times over an hour to make the reports. Officers proceeded to the caller’s residence and, upon speaking to them, confirmed that the 55-year-old male caller understood that his concerns were not emergencies requiring him to call 911. The male was placed under arrest and booked into the Pemiscot County Justice Center on a twenty-four-hour hold on the misdemeanor charge of Misusing 911.
On August 17, 2025, at approximately 4:25 PM, Caruthersville Police located and arrested 45-year-old Brandy Johnson on an active Caruthersville municipal warrant. The warrant was for the original charge of Peace Disturbance and carried a cash-only bond of $329.00. Johnson was booked into the Pemiscot County Justice Center.
On August 17, 2025, at approximately 6:05 PM, Caruthersville Police located and arrested 34-year-old Artreze Foreman on an active Caruthersville municipal warrant. The warrant was for the original charge of No Insurance and carried a cash-only bond of $225.00. Foreman was booked into the Pemiscot County Justice Center.
