The Caruthersville Police Department is seeking help from residents in Caruthersville. On Monday night at approximately 11:51 pm, Caruthersville Police received a report of prowlers trying to unlawfully enter vehicles in the area of Playground Road. This type of activity is usually spread over a large area or neighborhood, leading us to believe that more vehicles in that area could have been tampered with. CPD asks that any resident with cameras in that area check them and contact their office if they find any suspicious activity in the footage. Below is a picture from the original reporting party showing three (3) different subjects involved. Subject 1 is wearing a dark hooded shirt and shorts, while Subjects 2 and 3 appear to be wearing large backpacks and hooded shirts.
