On Thursday, the Caruthersville Police Department began an investigation into a hit and run incident involving property damage and a vehicle leaving the scene of the crash. The incident happened at approximately 4:40pm in the 100 Block of East 4th Street. A BOLO was issued for the suspect vehicle which was a Black 2016 BMW with Tennessee license plates and visible damage to the front end. With the assistance of the public by sharing the information on social media and the help of the Dyersburg Police Department, the suspect was quickly identified and located.
