The Charleston Fighting Squirrels captured the Babe Ruth Midwest Plains Regional Title this weekend, with a 15-13 win over the Missouri State Babe Ruth Champion Grippin’ Seams Revelers out of Sikeston. The Squirrels captured the regional title but both teams earned a bid into the Babe Ruth World Series in Ocala, Florida that kicks off on August 1st.
