On Saturday, a two vehicle crash near Hayti, resulted in multiple injuries. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the crash occurred on U.S. 412 at 11:45 a.m. when a 2013 Cadillac Escalade driving northbound pulled into the path of a 2021 BMW 330i driving eastbound, causing the collision. The driver of the Escalade, a 37-year-old woman from Kennett, suffered moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to Pemiscot County Memorial Hospital. She was not wearing a safety device. A 3-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries and was taken to the PMHS as well. The child was wearing a safety device. The 37-year-old man driving the BMW was wearing a safety device and was not injured. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
