A Caruthersville woman faces multiple charges, stemming from an incident on Monday night, where she crashed her SUV into a residence on Belle Avenue. Ashley Hunter, 34, is charged with four counts of assault, four counts of armed criminal action, three counts of endangering the welfare of a child and one count of leaving the scene of an accident. Caruthersville Police Chief Jerry Hudgens said three people outside the Belle residence were injured but suffered non-life threatening injuries. Chief Hudgens thanks the community for their patience and cooperation as they continue to work to determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
