
The nationwide average price for a gallon of gas has risen eight cents in the last week. According to AAA, the average price today is $3.21, still more than 20 cents lower than a year ago.
Regional prices have not jumped quite as much. Missouri’s average price is $2.86, up just three cents from last week. Arkansas’ price is up six cents at $2.85. Tennessee has seen the biggest jump – up 16 cents since last week to $2.84.
Southeast Missouri average prices range from $2.83 to $2.90. If you’re in Dyer County today you might fill up; it has the cheapest average price in the region at $2.73.
