Three small earthquakes were recorded in the region over the weekend. The first was Friday evening just before 6 p.m. NW of Howardville. It registered a 2.2, according to the University of Memphis Center for Earthquake Research.
Then in NE Arkansas, there were two small quakes in Lawrence County near Strawberry early Saturday. A 2.2 happened just after midnight. The second, a 1.8 occurred just before 2 a.m.
