Missouri lawmakers head back to Jefferson City for a special legislative session next week. Governor Kehoe is asking them to tackle three priorities – one of them includes tax incentives to keep the Royals and Chiefs in Kansas City. State Senator Jason Bean understands Bootheel folks may wonder why we should care about that, but the teams bring in millions of dollars to the state.

Bean says there’s something we need to know about that proposal.

The special session, which starts Monday, will include proposals to provide tax relief to tornado victims and to revive construction projects that died during the regular session.
