The owner of the former hospital property stood before the Kennett City Council last night and outlined his preliminary plans for the property. Muhammad Nawid plans various businesses and activities centered, at least in part, on kids.
Nawid is asking the Council to rezone the property, which now is residential. A public hearing on the rezoning was rescheduled for May 20.
