Two people from Birmingham, AL are in custody after a burglary at Harris Pharmacy in Kennett. According to Kennett Police, they were called to the pharmacy just after 2 am yesterday.
Officers located the vehicle shortly after they left the scene and attempted to conduct a traffic stop on US Highway 412 E, when the vehicle fled from officers. The vehicle continued to Highway 61 and Highway O, where the vehicle crashed out. With the assistance of the Pemiscot County Sheriff’s Office, Hayti Police Department and Steele Police Department, one suspect was placed under arrest and later transported to the hospital to seek medical treatment for minor injuries.
The second suspect fled the scene, and was later captured by the Pemsicot County Sheriff’s Department.
