A Hayti teenager was seriously hurt yesterday as he tried to overtake another vehicle on his motorcycle and struck a pickup in the rear. According to Troop E, the accident happened just after 1 p.m. on US 412 west of Hayti.
The 17 year old was taken by Air Medical to a Memphis hospital. The driver of the pickup was not hurt.
