
A nine year veteran of the Dunklin County Sheriff’s Department wants to step into the top job. Aaron Waynick is crisscrossing the county asking for your vote in the Republican primary on August 6. Waynick says one concern he’s heard while campaigning is about the lack of police coverage in some smaller communities. Waynick understands the concern and also the the problem of adding to the sheriff’s department’s work with no extra manpower.
Waynick his experience is important to consider as you vote in the primary.
Waynick is hosting a meet-and-greet at the Campbell Community Center from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday. You’ll get some free BBQ and get a chance to talk to the candidate.
