The New Madrid County Sheriff’s Department reports one arrest was made late last week when deputies and the SEMO Drug Task Force served a search warrant at a residence in Sikeston. During the search, according to a news release, a large amount of alleged methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were found.
One person was taken into custody and is held in the Mississippi County Jail. The unidentified suspect is charged with first degree drug trafficking and unlawful use of a weapon.
