The annual Memorial Day Service on the Kennett Square is a week from today at 9 a.m. The event each year is spearheaded by the VFW and American Legion.
This year’s guest speaker is LTC Tanika (Tina) Macias, a 29 year veteran of the U.S. Army.
The event will include a floral tribute by KMS Patriot Pen contest winners with a distinguished veteran as well as taps and lowering and folding of the U.S. flag.
