Changing the tone in D.C. is a major reason a candidate from Jefferson County is running for Congress. Franklin Delano “Denny” Roth II is a Democratic candidate for the 8th District congressional seat and was in Kennett for the eclipse celebration last weekend.
Roth is running against Randi McCallian in the August primary – the winner will likely take on incumbent Jason Smith in November.
