The Hemingway-Pfeiffer Museum and Educational Center in Piggott is hosting a series of events to celebrate the eclipse this weekend. They start tonight with a movie on the lawn. “October Sky” is the movie, and it starts at 7:30 p.m.

Piggott will have several things going on Saturday – Among them, a pancake breakfast at the Clay County Fairgrounds from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and a craft/vendor fair on the Square from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Museum Director Shannon Williams says they’ll be busy at the museum too with tours through the day.

On Monday, the events at the museum start at 11 a.m.

Piggott will have just over three minutes of totality.
