The next total eclipse in the US is in 2044, so it’s safe to say if you want to see one, Monday is the day. The city of Kennett is expecting a lot of visitors who want to do just that. Chamber Executive Director Christian Johnson says they’ve been getting the word out that Kennett is a good place to view the event.
There’s some good stuff planned for the Delta Fairgrounds this weekend to celebrate this once-in-a-lifetime event. “A Taste of the Fair” starts at noon Saturday, and Johnson says several of your favorite fair food booths will be open for business. The booths will be open Sunday starting at noon and there’s a great entertainment line up for people to enjoy.
