Gas Prices Continue to Move Up

Gas prices continue to move in the wrong direction. According to AAA, the average price for a gallon of gas in the US is $3.48 today – that’s up nine cents from last week and twenty-one cents from last month.

In Missouri, the price is up only a penny from last week at $3.20, but that’s 32-cents higher than last month. The average in Arkansas is up a nickel from last week at $3.11 – 21 cents higher than last month. In Tennessee, it’s $3.15 on average nine cents higher than last week and 18 cents higher than last month.

Among the cheaper counties to buy gas in the region is Dyer County at $3.06, Greene County at $3.08, and Pemiscot County at $3.13.
