Sikeston Man Sentenced to 12 Years in Prison on Drug Distribution, Gun Charges

CAPE GIRARDEAU – A U.S. district judge in Cape Girardeau on Tuesday sentenced a man who was caught with drugs and guns and admitted distributing drugs to 12 years in prison.

43 year old Christopher A. Calicott pleaded guilty in April to three felony counts: possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and possession of firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking crime.

After a multi-agency investigation, a court-approved search of the home of Calicott and his wife, Jodi L. Calicott, in an RV park near Sikeston found drugs, cash and guns.

38 year old Jodi L. Calicott was sentenced in June to five years in prison after pleading guilty to possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.
