Holiday cheer will be spread all over the Kennett Square tonight. “Just a Small Town Christmas” starts at 5:30 p.m. and there’s a host of activities planned until 8:30 p.m. The Adelphian Civic Club, Chamber of Commerce, and KMS Teen Outreach Program have spearheaded the effort. Adelphian member Tina Brown says everyone involved is amazed at the excitement leading up to the event – from all ages.
Mayor Jake Crafton will kick off the event tonight with a proclamation; Santa then arrives at 5:30 p.m. The tree lighting ceremony is at 7 p.m.
