If you’re on the highways during the holiday weekend, be alert and stay safe. That’s the message of the MSHP. The Patrol’s counting period for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend is from 6 p.m. Wednesday through 11:59 p.m. Sunday.
Last year nine people were killed and 482 injured in 1,355 traffic crashes during the four day Thanksgiving holiday in Missouri.
As always, troopers will be participating in Operation C.A.R.E., enforcing all traffic laws, and available to assist the public.
