One person died when the motorcycle she was on ran off US 412 just west of Cardwell and struck a tree. The MSHP identified the victim as 62 year old Letha Martin, of Elizabeth, AR. The driver, 62 year old Carl Martin, also of Elizabeth, was taken to Arkansas Methodist Hospital with moderate injuries.
The accident happened Saturday morning just after 8 a.m.
